Commissioners for Oaths

A Commissioner for Oaths is a person appointed or designated under The Manitoba Evidence Act to take affidavits or declarations by asking you to swear or affirm that what is in a document is true.

How to become a Commissioner for Oaths - A person may be eligible for appointment as a Commissioner for Oaths if their employment or work with a volunteer organization involves administering oaths or affirmations, or taking affidavits or statutory declarations.
